Things to look out for when applying for a scholarship

Seeking and applying for scholarship can be challenging but less challenging when you know what the scholarship requires.
You will notice that for every scholarship, there is always a requirement that must be met before applying and this where student tends to fall out of the race. In this article, I am going explain almost all the general requirements needed for scholarship.
NOTE: this article is for those seeking for scholarship into university( undergraduates and postgraduates).
If you check my recent post on available scholarship, you will understand what i mean by "requirements". The lists below are what you need before you think of applying for a scholarship;

a) English proficiency test: This includes the likes of SAT, TOEFL and so on. Almost all English speaking countries like USA, UK, CANADA will require you to take the exam.The purpose of these exam is to show the level of how fluent you are in English.

b) O'level Result: This include WAEC, NECO, GCE. You will need your o'level when registering for a scholarship. It is very important. Most scholarship requires the student to pass all necessary subject related to his/her course.

c) International passport: Some scholarship requires the student to have passport like one of the scholarship news i posted in my blog. So get your passport ready if you want to apply for a scholarship. But full scholarship like mastercard foundation scholarship, you won't need to have a scholarship because everything would be taken care of.

d) Age: Most scholarship requires the candidate who wants to apply to be above 18 years old(for both undergraduates and postgraduates). I do not means that there is no scholarship for candidate less than 18 years old, but with my experience, they are very rare.
